Off-Piste – Snowboarding in Austria

*** Check out your chance to win a vintage sewing pattern – Here! ***

I’m going a little ‘off-piste’ today but I couldn’t let our snowboarding trip go by without sharing some photos. I’ve had one of those afternoons dreaming of snowier days and wishing myself back on holiday so there’s nothing like admiring our photos, whilst planning the next trip!

So here’s a snapshot into our snowboarding trip to Zell-am-See, Austria – which comes highly recommended as a wonderful part of the world to visit!

The lake outside the hotel…

Snowboarding above the clouds…

I’m pretty sure the White Witch (Narnia) lives somewhere like this…

Snowboard proof!

A day trip to Kaprun

Christmas was still around every corner in the town, in my element!

The last day was spent in Salzburg, -12c, on a guided tour – it was well worth the cold to see architecture like this…

Well, what a way to start the year! Here’s on to the adventures the rest of the year has for us!

Ps… Don’t forget to enter the competition – here!

  1. You and hubby were definitely enjoying the trip. I can see that in the photos of you together. And yes, I agree, the architectural sites were worth venturing out to see. You have some postcard perfect moments and photos to remember. I’m glad you shared them, Georgia. Winter does have a beauty it is easy to forget here in the city where snow does not remain so pristine for long.

    1. We really did have a wonderful time and as we don’t really get any snow here, it was so magical to go and make the most of it! I think I need to make a photo album! Glad to see you internet is back up and running?! πŸ™‚
